Why post-launch website management matters?

Google and AI chatbots like ChatGPT are constantly updating their search algorithms, so even a brand-new website will lose its performance over time.

Google Search rankings decline over time

As Google continuously updates its algorithms and competitors optimize their websites, an inactive website will gradually lose its search rankings.

Inactive websites affect business credibility

Research from Stanford shows that when a website is inactive, customers subconsciously assume the business is either stagnant or struggling financially.

Some website maintenance is still required

Though Webflow automates most backend security & server upgrades, some technical updates still require manual action throughout the year.

MANAGEMENT METHODS

Methods we use in website management & optimization

The list below are our tried-and-true methods to manage and optimize our clients’ websites.

Content updates & fixes

We help you update text and visuals for your growing business. Depending on your management plan, we can either work with you to create the content or update the website using content you provide.

Layout optimization

Depending on your selected management plan, we fine-tune page layouts to improve conversion rate and website usability, using insights from user behaviours, and data from analytics.

Local SEO

Most of our clients are small-to-medium-sized businesses and nonprofits with audiences in their city. We help you climb the search rankings as high as possible with your targeted keywords.

New pages & content

We design and build new pages and content using the data we gathered from your website's Google Analytics, heat maps, and user interviews. We can help create the copy and visuals, if needed.

Competitor benchmarking

We continuously optimize and benchmark your website against your competitors' strengths,  weaknesses, and the bar they set so you can outperform your competitors.

Google Analytics 4

We analyze the traffic coming to your website; where they came from and what they were doing. We use that data and optimize your website to further increase traffic and conversion rate.

Heat maps analysis

Heat maps is where we record actual user behaviours on your website visually, so we can discover the "why they do what they do". Paired with GA4, we can optimize your website even further.

User interview

This is our ultimate research method. We talk and test your website with your target customer, we can ask and see first-hand how we can further optimize your website for conversion.

Webflow management

Though Webflow is already 10x better than Wordpress, there are occasional manual technical upgrades (domain, DNS, etc.) that you still need to do. We can take care of that for you.

Website management FAQs

This section answers the most common questions we get about how website management works, what’s included, and how it helps your site stay competitive and effective over time.

What is website management?

Website management is the ongoing work done after launch to keep your site updated, optimized, and performing well. This includes content updates, layout improvements, performance checks, SEO and GEO optimizations, and proactive recommendations based on data.

How is website management different from website maintenance?

Website maintenance is mostly about keeping things running (WordPress). Website management goes further. We actively improve your site over time using analytics, best practices, and search behaviour to support growth, visibility, and conversions.

Do I really need website management if my site is already live?

Yes. A website is never “done.” Search algorithms change, competitors improve their sites, and user behaviour evolves. Without ongoing management, even a well-built website can slowly lose traffic, rankings, and effectiveness.

What types of updates are included?

Depending on your plan, updates can include:

  • Content edits and fixes
  • Small layout adjustments
  • Performance and technical checks
  • SEO and GEO improvements
  • Local SEO updates
  • New pages and content (Growth and above)
How does the hourly system work?

Each plan includes a set number of visible monthly hours. Those hours are used across agreed-upon tasks like updates, optimizations, improvements, or new content. You’ll always know how your time is being used.

Can I roll over unused hours?

Unfortunately, no. Our management plans operate on a 'Dedicated Capacity' model, meaning we reserve specific time in our production calendar every month exclusively for your business. Furthermore, consistent updates signal to Google and other search engines that your site is active, which helps your business climb the search rankings.

Will you suggest improvements, or do I need to request everything?

Both. Higher-tier plans include active recommendations and prioritization. Lower-tier plans focus more on best practices and execution. You can always request specific tasks, regardless of plan.

Do you handle SEO and AI search optimization?

Yes. We include SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) work depending on your plan. This includes on-page optimization, content improvements, technical checks, and local SEO enhancements.

How long does it take to see results?

Some improvements are immediate, such as content clarity or page performance. Search visibility and rankings typically compound over time. Website management is about building long-term momentum, not quick wins.

Is website management only for Webflow sites?

Our website management plans are designed for Webflow sites we’ve built or manage. This allows us to work efficiently, safely, and consistently using proven workflows.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?

Yes. As your business grows, your website needs will change. You can adjust your plan to match your goals, workload, and pace.

Is website management a contract?

Plans are billed monthly. No long-term commitment is required, but consistent management delivers the best results over time.

Who is website management best for?

Website management is ideal for:

  • Small to mid-sized businesses
  • Nonprofits
  • Organizations that rely on their website for leads, trust, or visibility
  • Teams that want ongoing improvement without hiring in-house
