True Jesus Church is built on the foundation of the church in the apostolic times. The church believes in the observance of the Sabbath and the receipt of the Holy Spirit as the guarantee of inheriting the kingdom of heaven.
Their website was originally built using a WordPress template in the early 2010s. However, because of the limitation of using a template, over the years, many workarounds/hacks had to be created in order to accommodate new website needs. It also relied heavily on third-party plugins. Unfortunately, as with most WP plugins, they became obsolete after a few years.
While every user we interviewed found the website content wonderful, the challenge they raised was that they could not find them easily. The contents were “jumbo” together, as one user had described.
The focus of this website redesign was to create a tailor-made solution. The main objectives were to create clear user paths, reduce website maintenance effort, and rebuild the information architecture.
