Civil Engineering Branding: HomeLi Civil & Structural Engineering

HomeLi Civil & Structural Engineering Firm (宏利土木結構技師事務所) is a consultancy based in Taichung, Taiwan. FAMGO designed their complete brand identity, from stakeholder research through to the final logo, corporate identity system, and business collateral. The rationale of the logo is the synthesis of the uppercase letter "H" (HomeLi) and a bridge. We chose the bridge because our research showed it's most people's first impression of civil engineering, the strongest, most immediate visual shorthand for the profession. The logo form not only communicates the company's specialization in civil and structural engineering, it also gives the impression of stability and their mission to serve their clients from beginning to end. The identity extends across their signage, business cards, and corporate materials, so the brand reads consistently everywhere a client encounters it.
